Registru, the government agency responsible for identification documents, is launching a Mobile Documentation Desk on January 16, Info-Prim Neo reports. The service, which is available to all Moldovan citizens, is endowed with special equipment that allows issuing documents at home or at any location indicated by the applicant. The Mobile Desk will issue identification documents, such as ID cards, passports, temporary identification papers, domicile/residence certificates, and state identification numbers. There are three ways to order services through the Mobile Desk: via email, by contacting Registru's call center, or by submitting an application at any Registru office.
