The Chisinau municipal authorities started to install new garbage bins in minibus and bus stations. Contacted by IPN, the head of the Public Amenities Division Petru Gontea said that 160 of the necessary 300 bins will be set up in public transport statins at the first stage.

The garbage bins were purchased as a result of a tender contest held last year, when there were also accepted bids for buying traffic signs with street names. A sum of 800,000 lei was allocated from the local budget for the purpose.

Now the signs with street names are installed in intersections on the main arteries of Chisinau. In 2016, the works will be extended to cover other streets of the city.
