The State Weather Service issued a yellow-coded advisory for June 9-11, with temperatures expected to hit the +33 C mark, Info-Prim Neo reports. It is advised in particular to avoid getting out in the sun in high temperature hours, this especially being relevant for the elderly, children and people with heart disorders. The clothing should be lightweight, light-colored, comfortable and made of natural fibers. It is essential to avoid drinking excessive amounts of coffee or alcohol. Instead, people would like to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables, preferring them over fat-rich foods. Activities involving strenuous effort should be also avoided in high temperature hours. Low temperatures in this period will range from +13 C in the north to +20 in the south. The heat may be alleviated by showers in parts of the country. On Tuesday, the Weather Service predicts rain and thunderstorms across the country.
