State company “Cadastru” launches new service

The state-run company “Cadastru” launched the service “Access to the data of the Real Estate Register and to graphic information about real estate”. Through the new service, any person who acts in their own interest or in the name of an entity can view the general data on certain realty included in the Real Estate Register in accordance with the legal procedures, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Government, the service was launched following an order to increase transparency of information on cadastral data, made by Prime Minister Vlad Filat. The website provides information about the area of the real estate, the utilization method, the value determined for taxation, and the type of ownership. The visitors will be also able to find out about the existence of bans or notices concerning certain real estate. At the same time, the confidentiality of personal data is guaranteed. The new service can be accessed through the common governmental portal of public services www.servicii.gov.md.
