100 persons voted in Corjova by noon
As many as 100 persons cast their ballots in Cocieri to elect the local administration of Corjova village by 12.00, Alexandru Simionov, a member of the Central Election Commission (CEC), has told Info-Prim Neo.
According to Simionov, several so-called nongovernmental Transnistrian organizations do not allow taking the mobile ballot box to the Rehabilitation Center in Corjova, which accommodates persons with disabilities. Thus, the voters there cannot exercise their right to vote.
“We hope the situation will be remedied towards evening,” said the CEC member.
At 5.00 this morning, the Transnistria militia hindered the inhabitants of Corjova from traveling to Cocieri to mark their ballots there. The situation normalized after almost three hours.
There are 1,325 persons eligible to vote in Corjova.
