The former members of the AEI-2 are not interested in holding negotiations of a high quality as their real goal is to share the resources that remained in the state. The incident in the Domneasca Forest revealed the foulness existing in the AEI and showed that it wasn’t a successful form of government. Such opinions were stated in the program “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.
Constitutional law expert Vitali Catana said the Liberal Party should take into account two things in the negotiations: 1. no matter what happens, only an alliance can govern; 2. an agreement must be reached, no matter who will govern. “The future government must have a different content. Society’s pressure should focus on this aspect and should determine the government to center on the negotiations held with the European partners,” he stated.
Anatol Taranu, director of the Institute for Political Analysis and Consultancy “Politicon”, said the problem does not reside in the candidacy of Vlad Filat for premiership, but in what Mihai Ghimpu does. “He deviates from the essence of the problem, which is the change of the quality of governance. If it does not change, it will be better to hold early elections. We need a completely new government,” he stated.
Journalist Valeriu Renita said the AEI will be restored as nobody wants early elections to take place. Even the leader of the PCRM Vladimir Voronin admitted that the alliance is being renewed.
“After Mihai Ghimpu makes categorical statements, Valeriu Munteanu appears with contradictory statements. He may represent the gate to the talks. The AEI-3 will most probably be created. The Liberals want Vlad Filat to promise certain things. However, it is rumored that an alliance may be formed with the unaffiliated lawmakers. This is a more complex equation. I do not rule out even a coalition between the Communists and the Democrats,” said Valeriu Renita.
