Government to present action plan for next six months

The Government next week will present a new plan for developing the country and growing the economy for July – December 2017. After the weekly meeting of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM), the party’s president Vlad Plahotniuc said the agenda will include reforms and governance priorities for the immediate future, IPN reports.

“We asked our colleagues from the Cabinet to work out a roadmap or a new action plan for Moldova until next week. This would specify the activities of the government for the second half of 2017. The PDM considers a precise calendar of activities and steps for the immediate period should be assumed,” said the Democratic leader.  

According to Vlad Plahotniuc, the plan of action will contain the adoption in Parliament and enforcement of the Law on the Government Reform, ensuring of the functionality of the Public Services Agency that will incorporate five institutions and will reduce the tariffs for the services provided for the population, ensuring of the functionality of the National Integrity Agency and National Agency for Challenge Resolution in the public procurement sector.

There will also be ensured the functionality of an Office for Assets Recovery that will bring the property confiscated from convicted persons by law into the state budget.
