A number of deputy ministers were named and confirmed to posts in the February 3 meeting of the Cabinet. The executive also accepted the resignations of a number of Cabinet members, IPN reports.

Thus, Valeriu Triboi and Vitalie Iurcu were confirmed as deputy ministers of economy, Maria Caraus as deputy minister of finance, while Simion Botnari was dismissed from the post of deputy minister of finance based on his resignation. Gheorghe Postica and Igor Sharov were confirmed as deputy ministers of culture.

Iurie Craciuneac, Boris Galca and Neghina Azizov resigned from the posts of deputy minister of labor, social protection and family, while Viorica Dumbraveanu and Laura Grecu were named as deputy ministers of labor. Laura Grecu was state secretary at the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family and a decision on her dismissal from the previous post was approved by the Government.

Vitalie Tarlev, Dumitru Parfentiev and Vitalie Ciolac were confirmed as deputy ICT ministers.

Also, Mircea Buga was discharged from the post of director of the National Health Insurance Company based on his resignation,  as Leonid Bujor was dismissed from the post of deputy secretary general of the Government.
