Several hundred people gathered outside the Republican Palace to listen the speech of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Every person passed a security check when entering the area demarcated by policemen, Info-Prim Neo reports. The people will be able to watch the speech of the Chancellor on two large screens installed outside the Republican Palace. A police cordon was deployed along Bucuresti Street. All the people entering the security area are checked. According to the police, no violations of public order have been registered so far. The crowd is kept behind a metal fence installed at 10 meters from the stairs of the Republican Palace. Angela Merkel will deliver her speech in the hall where the Parliament meets, in front of MPs and other public figures. Screens that will show the live event have been installed in the first floor hall, where people will have access only with invitations. They are mostly representatives of state institutions. After the speech, the German Chancellor will lay flowers at the monument of Stefan cel Mare.
