The head of state condemns Russia's attack on the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, after a Russian missile destroyed an entire street on Friday, killing 18 people, including 9 children, IPN reports.

“Russia attacks every day, kills every day. The barbaric regime is trying to rebuild its empire through terror,” said President Maia Sandu, according to a press release from the Presidency.

The head of state also stated that the Ukrainian people are resisting and defending our freedom as well, emphasizing that we must distinguish between good and evil, between the peaceful world and the aggressor, and choose, every day, to keep Moldova on the side of peace.
