MPs demand questioning four ministers and prosecutor general

The lawmakers Thursday asked that four ministers and the prosecutor general are invited to Parliament for questioning, Info-Prim Neo reports. Liberal-Democratic MP Ion Butmalai and unaffiliated lawmaker Mihai Godea demanded that Minister of the Interior Alexei Roibu and Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubko should report on the investigation of the February 3 incident, when a group of protesters hindered the commission on national security, defense and public order from holding its meeting. The leader of the group of Socialists Igor Dodon requested questioning Minister of Finance Veacelav Negruta. According to him, the 2012 budget is inappropriately fulfilled in such areas as industry and the transportation of goods. Igor Dodon also asked that Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov should report on the assistance that the state will offer the farmers this spring. The group of Socialists is dissatisfied with the Government’s intention to replace the Integrated History course with the History of Romanians course. “The Socialists are against changing the name of the history textbooks. We demand that the minister of education tell how much such a move will cost,” said the MP.
