Oazu Nantoi decided to withdraw from the Democratic Party (PDM). Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the politician said that he renounces the post of deputy chairman of the PDM because he lost contact with it and thus prefers to be free. Asked if he intends to join another party, Oazu Nantoi said most of the people are happy even if they are not members of a party and he can remain in politics as unaffiliated. “I plan to live the rest of my life as a citizen of Moldova,” he said. Oazu Nantoi became a member of the Democratic Party in March 2007.
