The Party of Socialists of Moldova (PSRM) announced the start of its pre-election campaign. In a meeting on June 6, the party’s Political Executive Committee agreed the steps that will be taken to prepare the party for the November 30 parliamentary elections, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the PSRM.

The Committee decided to create the electoral staffs and to step up the activity of the local organizations. The campaign to inform about the necessity of joining the Customs Union will be continued. Representatives of the party will visit all the settlements and will collect 1 million signatures that will be submitted to the central authorities.

It was also agreed to convene the 12th extraordinary congress of the PSRM in September. Two international conferences entitled “Moldova’s integration prospects: Customs Union or European Union” and “Christian civilization in the modern world” will be staged in June.
