If parliamentary elections were organized, the Party of Socialists would be 5th placed by number of votes. According to an IMAS survey, the top four positions would be occupied by the current parliamentary parties, Info-Prim Neo reports. The PSRM press service issued a press release stating that the result proved the great potential of Socialists under Igor Dodon’s leadership. It’s for the first time the voting intention shows some significant support for the Party of Socialists, revamped after Igor Dodon and his team joined it. The poll shows voters consider Igor Dodon an alternative candidate for prime minister’s office. Moreover, he is among the politicians most trusted by people. According to the survey, 70% of respondents endorse Igor Dodon’s departure from PCRM. 18.3% consider this was a big loss for the Communists and 23.7% think it’s a political success for Dodon’s future. The survey was conducted on a sample of 1109 respondents from 74 selected localities. The maximum error margin of sampling is ±3.0%.
