The secretary of the former political party “Shor” has been released from judicial control for a period of 60 days. The charges against the defendant are being examined under the same criminal case as Evghenia Gutul, IPN reports.
According to prosecutors, the court partially upheld the request for pre-trial detention. As a result, the measure of provisional release was applied for two months, accompanied by specific restrictions and obligations.
On March 27, following the receipt of a set of documents from several state institutions, authorities signaled a possible attempt by the defendant to evade court proceedings. The Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office submitted a request for preventive detention while the case was still at the stage of reviewing the defense’s evidence.
