The deadline by which the new Government must be invested and should start work is the end of July, the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat said, noting the negotiations on the formation of a ruling coalition follow the right way, IPN reports.

The politician said the negotiations that must start immediately after the investiture of the Government for signing a financing program with the IMF should not be neglected either as these are vital.

Vlad Filat avoided saying who exactly will form part of the alliance, specifying there will be a pro-European government in Chisinau and all over the country. “We will make public the names of candidates and the decisions. We follow the correct path and I’m confident that we will succeed,” he stated.

Asked about the halt in the provision of financing by the EU, the Liberal-Democratic leader said this decision is directly influenced by the absence of a program with the IMF and is a normal approach given that the accord with the IMF offers credibility to the country.
