Vlad Filat: raid attempts still happen

Raider attack attempts still happen, declared PM Vlad Filat in a press conference on Friday. According to the PM, some attempts are stopped right at their initial phase, other proceed, which proves that the measures taken last summer were not sufficient, reports Info-Prim Neo. “President Nicolaie Timofti’s decision to gather the Supreme Security Council, in order to discuss the banking system’s situation, is welcome and absolutely necessary. It was a good discussion, during which the institutions exposed their points of view on the situation, using concrete cases as examples. For some, this will be a lesson, for others however, for those who have not yet understood what has happened back then, may it lay on their conscience”, stated Vlad Filat. The Premier mentioned that it is important that future actions were decided upon and the necessary recommendations were made. “The Supreme Security Council is not a decisional body, but a consultative one. Therefore, through unanimous vote, State institutions were recommended to take concrete measures in regulating the banking system of Moldova”, added the Prime Minister. The Supreme Security Council was convoked by the President on Friday, June 29.
