The leader of the Democrat Party Vlad Plahotniuc said the law enforcement agencies will deal with those who planned and conducted the interview with killer Vitalie Proca and with those who disseminated it. Making statements for the press after the weekly meeting of the party’s administration, the Democratic leader said the political opponents have always struck the party when this was powerful, IPN reports.

According to Vlad Plahotniuc, the public opinion was shocked last week. “The people heard what an ordinary criminal, who got 21 years in Romania, said, how Maia Sandu analyzed the criminal’s statements like a psychologist and how she shared his position. Later, another expert in the interpretation of criminals’ words, Igor Dodon, complemented the analysis of Maia Sandu with a philosophical approach,” stated the Democratic leader, commenting on the reactions that appeared after the interview.

He also said that a part of the media outlets, which consider themselves free, supported the assertions of Vitalie Proca as if they took part directly in what the criminal stated. Vlad Plahotniuc noted the planners of the interview, who are abroad, are short of themes and started to create scenarios.

In an interview for Jurnal TV channel that was broadcast on November 2, Vitalie Proca, who was sentenced to jail in Romania, said that in 2012 he shot businessman German Gorbuntsov by order of Vlad Plahotniuc, but failed to kill this. Two days earlier, the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases in an interview presented the scheme of organizing the murder attempt that resulted in the wounding of Gorbuntsov. According to prosecutors, the questioned persons confirmed that killer Vitalie Proca acted by order of Renato Usatyi and accepted to name Vlad Plahotniuc as the one who ordered the murder in exchange for a sum of money.
